Thrikkakara: An invited talk was given by the NSS volunteers of KMM College of arts and Science, Thrikkakara (Unit No: 251&252) at our adopted School on 22 July on the topic “Role of parenting in development of a child". Miss Rifa.M.R, Miss Anagha.M.T, and Miss Sneha.T.S, as the leading volunteers, are taking on a responsible and commendable task of imparting knowledge and insights on this subject. Their efforts could significantly contribute to creating awareness among parents about their role in supporting and nurturing their children's overall well-being and growth.
By sharing their knowledge and experiences, the NSS volunteers are making a positive impact on the children's lives and the community as a whole. It's heartening to see young individuals actively involved in promoting a better understanding of essential aspects that shape our future generations.
The programme was started at 10.30 am, and was inaugurated by the manager, Rev Fr. Antony Madathumpady. The talk was attended by the parents and committee members who gathered here to attend the general PTA Meeting of St Joseph LPS. The resource persons discussed about the types of parenting and also the points to note as a parent for a better development of a child. The class was interesting and all the parents gave their responses. At the vote of thanks, Mrs. Soly Cherian, Head mistress thanked the NSS Units and the volunteers for their presence and support.
