"Oru Pothi Sneham’ Continues at KMM College

 

MGU NSS Units 251 and 252 of KMM College of Arts and Science, Thrikkakara, organized another edition of "Oru Pothi Sneham", a continuous free food distribution project led by the NSS units, on 10 July 2026.

The initiative is a regular community outreach programme aimed at providing nutritious meals to people in need while fostering the values of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility among student volunteers. Through Oru Pothi Sneham, volunteers collect food packets prepared with love and distribute them to the underprivileged, reinforcing the NSS motto, "Not Me, But You."

Volunteers enthusiastically participated in the programme by contributing food packets, with each volunteer encouraged to bring at least one packet, while many extended their support by contributing even more. The active involvement of volunteers made the programme a meaningful expression of collective care and service.

Speaking on the occasion, the organizers reiterated that even a small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone's life. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the college authorities and NSS Volunteers, with the wholehearted support of students and staffs.
