കേരള എയ്ഡ്‌സ് കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ സൈാസറ്റിയുമായി സഹകരിച്ചു സ്‌കൂള്‍-കോളേജ് തലത്തില്‍ റെഡ് റിബണ്‍ ക്ലബ്ബുകള്‍ തുടങ്ങാം. ഇതിനായി പ്രത്യേകം തയ്യാറാക്കിയ മാതൃകയില്‍ കേരള എയ്ഡ്‌സ് കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ സൈാസറ്റി പ്രൊജക്ട് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ക്ക്‌ അപേക്ഷ നല്‍കണം.

About Red Ribbon Club

Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a voluntary on-campus intervention implemented in MSSW aimed at creating awareness about the high risk perception and preventing HIV as well as promoting voluntary blood donation among the students.  

Objectives:

• To reduce new HIV infection among youth by raising their risk perception through awareness of Sex, Sexuality and HIV & AIDS
• To induce among youth the spirit to help and support People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) thereby reducing stigma and discrimination against them.
• To motivate youth and build their capacity as peer educators and change agents by developing their skills of leadership, negotiation, and team building
• To promote Voluntary non-remunerated Blood Donation among youth

There are 315 Red Ribbon Clubs active in Professional & Art Colleges and ITIs all over Kerala
